Get Involved!

Hey there are several ways to get involved directly in what we are doing. Here are just a few:

Missions Trips - Nothing can give you a better idea of what we are doing than to come and see for yourself. Dayspring offers several types of trips for groups. My first missions trip ever was with Dayspring, and God effected me so much on that one trip that my life completely changed. Pray about it and if you feel let to go yourself, Dayspring is an excellent organization to go with. If you let us know we can help you set one up and meet you while you are down here. There is a whole range of trips you can take and you can even make up your own custom trip if you want. Go to one of these links to get the ball rolling - youth trips, family trips, work trips, or coming as a single. Ask them about their Christmas trips. They are very special. Be sure to let us know that you are coming and we will do our best to join you on your trip!

Love Packs - Every August Dayspring starts gathering Love Packs. Love Packs are bundles of basic need items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap,etc. In each Love Pack we also put a small gift. Then Our Christmas Trips travel to the remote parts of Mexico sharing the Word of God and distributing these Love Packs at children's services. In many of the places that we visit, they don't have much to celebrate with, so these Love Packs truly bring them joy as they experience the love of Christ first hand. Church's all over pitch in by gathering the supplies for and assembling these Love Packs. If you want to be part of this effort, please contact us or Dayspring Outreach to receive specific directions and an item list of what goes into each Love Pack.

Dayspring Missionary Training (DMT) - Every long term missionary that serves with Dayspring must complete DMT, but the school is open for anyone to apply. The DMT is an intense 7 month training/outreach school. Students learn how to be effective ministers and also immediately practice what they learn. The leadershp and ministry skills that can be acquired are invaluable. Most students don't neccessarily become full time long term missionaries, but they leave to be pastors, doctors, businessmen, and lay people who have carry out their passion for missions at home. If you are considering the DMT, pray about it. It is not for the faint of heart, but the blessings surrpass any of the hardships.

Pray! - We always can use prayer. Check out our prayer feed and join us on the field by lifting us up, daily or weekly.

Fast! - Somethings can only be taken care of by prayer and fasting. Consider fasting for our work. Your dedication to God, may just be the key to opening new doors of ministry for us.
