Cathy's Bio

I was born at a very earlier age! Yes, folks it’s true! Well, if I decided to write everything about myself you would be sitting there reading for a few days. I am your friendly neighborhood elementary school teacher/ wife who grew up in Okarche, OK and OKC, OK. I went to school, college, became a teacher, and now full time missionary. (blah, blah, blah…bio stuff) Rather than bore you with the details, here is list of some of the highlights of life thus far.

I accepted Christ when I was 12 in my house reading a bible I had gotten from VBS. (Never discount the power of VBS)

• Graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1992
• Graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1996
• Married my wonderful husband, Josh Vaughn, on July 12, 2003
• Taught for 10 ½ years
• I am happily addicted to coffee.
• The purpose of my life here is to know Him and make Him known. In this life my purpose is to know God in a personal relationship and to lead others to Him through everyday living, using words, if needed.
