A wedding, travel, safety, and provision.

Hey everyone. We always appreciate your prayers and support. These next few days we need you to help us raise up a few things in special prayer. First of all we want God to bless the union in marriage of Joel Miller and Ruth Tovar. Their wedding is Oct. 3. Following the wedding we will head south towards the island. We need safe travel and for God to protect us on our way. We will be riding a bus, which is not a bad way to travel cross country in Mexico. We will travel through Mexico City (woo hoo! never been there.) and end up in Tuxtepec. From Tuxtepec we have a few hour drive to the island. Recently the public transportation workers have been on strike and blocking all the streets in and out of the city. Pray that God opens a way for us. We also need everyone to raise the island church up in fervent prayer. It seems to be 3 steps forward and 2 steps back. While recently they had established an island church, local opposition had come against them and they had to move the church to house churches. I understand that God flourishes a church through persecution, but please pray that those who stand in great opposition to Christ, soon become our brothers. Please pray privately and corporately about the island. Fast for your brothers and sisters there. Be the body. We love you.
